My Office Today

This is my office today!

If being away from my home office and my husband away from his office office for 3 weeks, means that we both plug in for a few hours here and there to work remotely from this beautiful place then I’m all for it. Sometimes the lines between work and play get blurred but really, wouldn’t that be the best possible scenario?

Recently I got to go to Kelowna for work and play with some of my favourite people in the blogging world. We spent a day seeing sights like the Hotel Eldorado for lunch on the waters edge and then having a private tasting at Okanagan Spirits Distillery that makes their own selection of BC fruit liqueurs, gin, whiskey and absenth just to name a few. While we did get a lot of work done, we laughed and ate and talked and shared and bonded more than co-workers who share a cubicle wall. I wouldn’t trade my job for a traditional office for all the money…well, maybe for all the money.

This is my kind of work!

I’m totally excited that 360 Access has launched 2 brand new conferences for bloggers/influencers in addition to the already successful Blissdom Canada conference, in 2015. First up is the Roam conference May 31-June 2 in Kelowna (stay tuned for ticket info). Look at that, 3 more opportunities this year for me to mix business with pleasure!

Having the luxury of mixing work and play means that I can still use my work brain and tap away at my computer with a smile on my face. I hope that wherever you’re working today is somewhere that you can take a moment to enjoy the view out your window or on the way home from work and maybe take the opportunity to blur your work and play lines as well.

See you in Kelowna!
